NATURE OF DEFECT
A flange joint on 1 1/2” on a HP steam line had failed due to possible gasket or flange face issues. The client required a ASME VIII compliant live leak arrest system to prevent operational down time.
SOLUTION
Metalyte Pipeworks solution was to carry out a full survey of the leaking flange and design a clamp with built-in restraints. The clamp was surveyed, designed, manufactured, delivered, and installed successfully.

Supply and fit stainless steel clamp enclosure.
